Morning at the Zoo

This morning we went with our friends to the zoo. We arrived super early to beat the heat, the summer crowd, and to get home in time for naps.



They loved checking out the fish in the Africa Live exhibit.




Cohen was saying "I want ar-ry", which is what he calls both Arley and Aubrey. He is a lucky guy with some cute gals to choose from.





The zoo has a great are for children under five to play. This beach is a shallow water play area that was perfect!




He mostly loved picking up the rocks and feeling them run through his fingers.














The kids had a blast splashing, playing, and exploring the water play area.
Afterwards, we had a picnic lunch under the trees and at the picnic tables. Everyone was starving by that point.
I can't wait for our next little playdate!
